GOOD FAITH ESTIMATE
As part of the "No Surprises Act" which went into effect January 1, 2022, out-of-network providers in all specialties are required to provide both new and existing clients a "Good Faith Estimate" of their treatment costs.
The fees at Beech Tree Psychiatric Services are as follows:
New Intakes with Doctor: $450-500
Follow-up Visits with Doctor: $170-200
Emergency School Evaluations: $200
Medication management services:
After the initial intake, appointments with the doctor may be once every 2-4 weeks depending on symptom severity and medication needs. As symptoms stabilize, expect visits to continue every 1-3months. After 1 year, treatment is most likely going to be once every 2-3months, but may increase in frequency if acute symptoms occur, as well as if medications are being stopped. Stopping medication is treated similarly to starting medication, with close follow-up and communication as doses are changed, to monitor symptoms and physical effects.
Labwork and Medication costs will be covered based on your insurance coverage.
Therapy services:
Therapy with both the therapist and the doctor will typically be every 1-2weeks, however may be as frequent as twice weekly or as infrequent as once a month.
Some insurance companies have decided they will no longer accept the detailed invoice or "superbill" that the MD provides to you after payments are received. Beech Tree Psychiatric Services is not in a position to submit these bills directly to your insurance with each visit, so please speak to your insurance company to find out their procedures for out-of-network reimbursement.
